Rasudev Roy (52), a resident of Torkona in Khandaghosh, died in Bajrapa on this day. According to the family of the deceased, Vasudev Babu was working on harvesting paddy in the field that day. At this time he was injured by lightning. When he was brought to Burdwan Medical College Hospital in a critical condition, the doctors declared him brought dead announced.
On the other hand, Mofuza Begum (35), a resident of New Gram of Burdwan police station, was seriously injured in the lightning strike on this day. He was also working on picking paddy from the field. He was seriously injured in the lightning strike. He was taken to Burdwan Medical College Hospital in a critical condition. Apal Lohar (41), a resident of Jahanpur village in Mangalkot, passed away.
