The daily Covid-19 positivity rate in Haryana was over 8.8% on Monday night. While one patient at Karnal died, at least 24 patients were hospitalized, including four on ventilators.
The woman who died of Covid-19 was identified as a woman admitted to hospital with low blood pressure. She is a resident of Taraori, Kanal. Last night, she was admitted to a private hospital with low blood pressure. When she failed to recover until morning, she was referred to Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Kanal. She was given a rapid antigen test and she tested positive for Covid-19.
