Palak paneer may be a celebrated North Indian dish made with spinach and paneer . This vegan dish isn’t as it were scrumptious but too stuffed with supplements, making it a solid and flavorful expansion to any supper. Here are two formulas for palak paneer, one conventional and one with a bend.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups chopped spinach
- 200 grams paneer
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Water as required
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds until it turns golden brown.
- Add a tea-spoon of ginger garlic paste & saute it for couple of mins.
- ADD some pieces of chopped tomato & cooked it soft.
- Add coriander ,turmeric ,red chili, and garam masala powder.
- Add chopped spinach and salt. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes until the spinach is wilted.
- Flame down for some mins.
- Transfer the whole mix into a grinder to grind smoothly.
- Return the smooth mixture to the pan and add paneer cubes. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes until the paneer is heated through.
- Serve hot with rice or naan.
